Measure Once, Cut Thrice

Measure Once, Cut Thrice is a quest for level 78-80 in Azj-Kahet. It is step 3 of 7 in the Subterfuge in Silk storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Azj-Kahet at 72.8, 42.5. It rewards 10,600 experience and money.

Description

I was promised an important, glamorous, enviable position of power when I left the city for Rak-Ahat.

This warehouse job? Neither important nor enviable. And certainly not glamorous.

Grand Overspinner Antourix has been at this for far too long. She doesn't understand my vision. All she wants are drones that do exactly what she wants, how she wants it.

Take out her most loyal workers. We'll see how tough she is on her own once I take over the dyeworks.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The EntrenchedAzj-Kahet · Level 78-80

And now the other piece to this coup. I've been operating under Grand Overspinner Antourix's mandibles for a while now. She's entrenched in Rak-Ahat, and thinks nothing can touch her at the top. She has already refused to submit to Ren'khat.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Spring CollectionAzj-Kahet · Level 78-80

That maggot Ren'khat wants my position, hm? He's welcome to try and take it. All the runoff from our operation flows into the spring below Rak-Ahat. Decades of mordants, catalysts, and alchemical concoctions have coalesced into something quite... potent. Don't fuss about the side effects.
