TheWoWDBSo this took me for ever to figure out. Once accepting the rumor, the area in question does not show up on the map until you are in the area. Then you can see it on the mini map. The area in quesiton is at /way 73.09, 50.35 in Rak-Ahat, so just a little north-west from where you accept the rumor up on the platforms. The items do not drop from mobs, they are exclusively looted around the area and appear as yellow dots on your mini map when close enough.
