If you've completed this quest and met Brother Pike and are wondering why you can't continue the quest line, it's because you also need to finish the quests starting with Forced Labor from [npc=130904] nearby.

Wish I'd realized that and grabbed them both because you're running around that same area killing the mobs that are in the way anyway.

When I came back to Stormsong to finish unlocking Loremaster of Kul Tiras, the questgiver is nowhere near the continuing questline exclamation point on the map.

Brother Pike is at 66, 57 in Seafarer's Rest, not near the bridge to Brennadam. Maybe he's near the bridge in earlier quests, but I was only able to find him in Seafarer's Rest.

Your coordinates show all 3 items at the same location...NOT I found the beacon at 65 58 and the mantle at 67 60. I know these aren't exact but that will get you close and you should see the yellow dot on your map.

What to do

StorylineA House in Peril, step 13 of 43
Rewards25g 74s, 8,150 XP

Description

In our haste to journey here I did not think to bring my ritual implements we tidesages use to augment our power. To be honest, I had never expected them necessary on what should have been a peaceful sojourn. Addington does not have his, either. I am sure the militia took him from his home before he had the chance to react. That means his implements should still be in the yard somewhere. We must find them before my power is of much real use.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Lost, Not ForgottenStormsong Valley · Level 30-60

I know not what madness has overtaken my people, but we must stop it together. Take this bell. It calls the souls of the recently deceased to it for later release. We Stormsong do not bury our dead in the earth. The tides claim all.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Rising TideStormsong Valley · Level 30-60

This mainspring wasn't altered by an engineer. These runes on the surface can only have come from a tidesage. Their aquatic magic is unmistakable. I'd bet whoever did this is also responsible for Addington's death. Whoever they are, they're likely still nearby. Keep an eye out...
