Buggy Mission Probable becomes Mission Impossible
My Horde alt used Chromie time to start Draenor this week (Jan 2024)
Mission Probable is the first mission at the garrison Mission Table. You're are assigned a specific follower, [spell=160951], to do the mission table quest: Gronnlings Abound. After 29 minutes the mission is completed.Returning to the Town Hall, I clicked on the map on the mission table. The mission page popped up - but it was gray. No way to complete the quest. Then I clicked on [npc=79740], but he had nothing new to say.
- Did the usual: reloaded UI, deleted Cache, turned off add-ons, dismissed pet.
- Then I went to see Chromie in Orgrimmar. Turned off Chromie time. Dungeons changed from Draenor dungeons to BFA dungeons for my level 36 character. Traveled back to garrison on Frostfire Ridge. The mission completion page was still gray. Returned to Chromie and turned Chromie time back on. Regained the Draenor dungeons, but can't do missions.
- Finally I decided to uninstall and reinstall Battle.net and WoW. Exported Weak Auras, took camera shots of screens for certain add-ons, renamed and moved WTF and Interface to other drive (just in case). After reinstall, returned to mission table. Completion page for Gronnlings Abound was still grayed out.
IMO you can't do Draenor properly without the Mission Table and you won't get the follow-up quest line, Den of Wolves.
Note: I have Alliance characters with garrisons who did Draenor in real time who had no issues with the Mission Table. One did Draenor when it went live and two built garrisons in real time during later expansions. The Ally characters earned the achievement Foothold in a Savage Land. Does that interfere? Edit: No. It has to fixed by a Game Master. See below.
The bug was reported in the Blizzard forums in March 2023. No solution was given. Players doing fresh installs said it didn't solve the Mission Table bug.

Submitted a bug report.
Edit
I opened a Support ticket. A Game Master applied a fix. It should have been fixed for everyone -- but if you're reading this, I guess not. Open a ticket.

After you turn in this quest, Den of Wolves becomes available from Drek'thar to start the next chain.
I just experienced this same bug while leveling an alt. I was able to fix it though. I disabled all add-ons and when I reopened the mission table, there was another tutorial prompt that I was able to acknowledge. After that, it allowed me to complete the quest related mission.

What to do
Description
Despite his recent captures, Olin Umberhide seems to be a tauren of some skill in combat. He certainly has learned how to get an enemy's attention. I have a mission available that might prove ideal for his skill sets. When you are ready, simply issue the order via the command table in front of me and we will dispatch him immediately.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Commander, I have bad news. Olin Umberhide, the tauren who escaped with you from Tanaan, was ambushed when near the eastern perimeter of the Garrison. He was seen being dragged off by the pale. These are dangerous, disturbing creatures that some believe were once orcs.
