Not Today, Fate is a quest for level 70 in Thaldraszus. It is step 3 of 7 in the Bronze Reconciliation storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Tanaris at 37.4, 83.7. It rewards 9,500 experience and money.
Eternus intends to show us what happened. I think she also seeks to change the past.
Normally, I would not entertain this idea, but understanding the infinites is the only way forward.

After you speak with Eternus, you will need to stand in the other circle in front of him. You will get an action button (mine was on top of my other icons and didn't see it)
yea, if you click on the portal to start this quest chain
and then start anything else, random dungeon...
you get frozen in place because you need to ask to get unfroze in this
I flew outside out of curiosity, since sometimes the quest will put you in a new instance of a place, and sometimes the quest will put a wall around your location... and when I saw the huge sword all the way over in Silithus, I knew we were actually in the real live location! Then I was a little confused, since this stuff with the Black Dragonflight happened waaaaaaaaaaaaaay before the sword, so I assumed at least we'd be in the [npc=128607]-ed instance of the world, but I guess not... would've been more immersive that way, though.
Anyway, this all means that if you end up abandoning this quest or otherwise need to find it again, just fly to the actual location in Tanaris (coordinates are 37.55, 83.80), near the Gunstan's Dig flightpath to continue the questchain! It should not separately instanced.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Eternus clearly has something she wishes to impart to us. I am unsure where this conversation will lead. But I trust Chromie. If she believes that Eternus can be swayed, I trust her judgment. When you are ready, I will see what she has to say.

Do you not agree that Moraidormi can be saved? We infinites often save those we think suffered needlessly--worthy or not. Supposedly, Mori died too close to the Caverns of Time just east of us. Using too much time magic here could have... consequences. But this should be quick.
Bronze Reconciliation has 7 steps, from No Limits to Infinity and Beyond.
Maps its steps are placed on (steps per map): Tanaris (4), Thaldraszus (3).
