TheWoWDBSo basically Sylvanas's punishment is the same as Return Lost Souls that we've been grinding through every week. I guess that's fair. To Sylvanas that is, not sure what we did to deserve it.

What a disappointing story end to a disappointing expansion.
- Still not sure what the Jailer is talking about, did all he did and why he wouldn't tell his brothers and sisters?
- I've still no idea what Sylvanas's motivation was?
- Kind of funny to see all those "souls" cutting her down for what she did. They're in the afterlife, what does it matter anymore? How are there souls in Orbiros now anyway?
- Why hasn't Tyrande spent her whole time, up till now, in the Maw rescuing souls?
- The whole point of the Shadowlands is helping souls find redemption, etc. Why would you go to Tyrande for the punishment? I'm sure there have been a ton who've gone through the Shadowlands system who did worse than she has.
- The Arbiter is supposed to judge souls and send them to the right place. And then the real work happens there. He's not supposed to ask some petty person like Tyrande what to do?
I really really had high hopes for Shadowlands. I loved the story from the start, the whole death and afterlife thing is super interesting. The way they split it up into the various Covenants (though extremely incomplete) is also interesting. As far as I was concerned they could have split it up until 10 patches going further and further into the story. Then, like they seem to do a lot, they just fell on their face.
This reminds me of WoD, though on a smaller scale. The WoD characters also seemed interesting, then they just failed at every aspect of fleshing them out.
It's fitting this last storyline awarded absolutely nothing (No gold, No rep, Nothing). It's also fitting that while watching the Arbiter related vid my game crashed...
Edit: While doing this across multiple toons one thing I noticed is you really want to walk around and talk to all the npc's. You get a good view of what they think of what's going on from different perspectives!

Description
When I became the new Arbiter, I vowed to myself that I would listen to those around me, to take their counsel into consideration before passing eternal judgment. I have an inkling of what Tyrande intends for Sylvanas. Her fury is tempered by wisdom, and I trust in the decision she has made. Meet her in the Ring of Transference and see her judgment come to pass.
