By the stone you need to take, sleeps a pretty tough elite bear - be prepared.
While fighting with my two troll companions, they had aggro and.. suddenly Chana died! I was so sad! I thought it is part of the quest, but nope - she just respawned. I think it's the first time I see the accompanying NPC die in a fight and respawn.. Normally they are dazed at 1HP or something.

Transcribing spoken dialogue here!
Iz'ken: Why are we even honorin' her like this?
Chana: De tribe still loves her.
Iz'ken: Ya never told dem?
Chana: Dey never believed me.There are some Shadowpine NPCs nearby, I'm not entirely sure if they are related to the quest? But they do have some dialogue and gossip, I'll put it underneath a spoiler.
Spoiler
Upon approach, the family will start to speak.[npc=254802]: Dis walk is too long, father. De ocean's boring.
[npc=254801]: It isn't about de destination, Tay'sa.
Tay'sa: Maybe it could be. We could go someplace fun...
All three named Shadowpine all have unique gossip dialogue when interacted with.
Palutan: De Shadowpine have no home. We make our homes along de way as we travel.
Tay'sa: Are we there yet?
[npc=254803]: Father says dis place is sacred. We should be quiet!
Perhaps Chana and Iz'ken's mother was part of the Shadowpine tribe? Not sure.
That is every comment on this page.

What to do
Description
Ahead is an old shrine. Nobody knows anymore what we worshipped there or why, but it was a place my mother loved. It would honor her if we put a stone from it on de pyre with her.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Kindling Aplenty
Next, we need to collect de logs for our bonfire. Kan'sha, de large tree at de end of de valley, was infected with poison from a stray arrow long ago. She's quite tough. To survive, she sheds her branches regularly. In a way, Kan'sha has become a regular part of our rituals.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A Quiet Farewell
Now we set up de bonfire to burn de body. Destroying the body means it cannot be used by de Vilebranch for evil and makes sure de spirit finds rest. It still chills me how quiet she is now. The tribe should be gatherin' down at de Funerary Coast.
