Siegebreaker

Siegebreaker is a Horde-only quest for level 10-30 in Southern Barrens. It is step 54 of 89 in the Southern Barrens storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Southern Barrens at 41.4, 46.8. It rewards 5 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

<name>, you've proven yourself on the Fields of Blood. But the Alliance still threatens our tauren friends.

The siege machinery outside the gates of Mulgore is like a spear aimed at our heart. I want you to go to the gates, south of here, and remove those siege vehicles from play.

Here, use these stickybombs. They're courtesy of our new goblin allies. It looks as though they stuffed explosive powder into ... what looks like ... grease-covered socks. But they'll do.

"You take a standard G.I sock, cram it with as much Composition B as it can hold, rig up a simple fuse, then coat the whole thing with axel grease. Now when you throw it, it should stick. Its a bomb that sticks, its a "sticky bomb". Think of a better way to knock out the tracks, I'm all ears."

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Lion's PrideSouthern Barrens · Level 10-30

If you seek vengeance on our Alliance invaders, you would do well to observe the fiercest of predators in the Barrens. The lions that stalk amongst the tall grass do so with cunning, stealth, and power. Learn from their example and you will understand the kind of war we need to fight.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Taking Back TaurajoSouthern Barrens · Level 10-30

Outstanding work at the gates, <name>! The main body of the Alliance force is in general retreat. But I'm not satisfied. They sacked Taurajo, which was little more than a hunters' camp. This 'Alliance' is unmasked at last for what it really is: A renegade band of butchers.
