Straight to the Top

If you're having trouble getting the stepping stone out of the bag, don't do what I did and abandon the quest over and over, exit the game, leave the continent, come all the way back only to be frustrated again. This is a case of Blizzard's poor wording of quests. You have to go to one of the two "arcane platforms" you went to on the previous quest with the scepter you got out of the bag. Once you are standing in one of those spots, the action button will work and you can go through the bag and get the stepping stone and continue the quest.

On the first quest when I went through the bag to get the scepter, I did it right next to the quest giver, so I assumed I could do the same again, and when I couldn't, I went through a big hassle for nothing. It should have worked like the previous quest, but at a minimum the quest description should specify "go to one of the arcane platforms then look through the bag". Hope this saves someone from pulling out their hair.

I present You Storyline [storyline=1314]. This Storyline is part of Azure Spanner which is criteria for Loremaster of the Dragon Isles.

Storyline in order I done it:

1. Into the Azure - See [npc=185599] 71.6 80.5
2. To the Azure Span - See [npc=185603] 41.43 35.6
3. Camp Antonidas - See [npc=183543] 46.6 40.1 movie will start.
4a. Assemble the Defenses - Get 3 [item=194512]. Location: /way 46.1 39.3 /way 45.8 40.1 /way 46 40.8
4b. Preservation of Knowledge - Find 4 Ancient Tomes. You can fine a lot around.
6. Wrath of the Kirin Tor - jump on [npc=192244] 46.2 38.8 and using skill 1 take down all dragons. DON'T LEAVE [npc=192244] until you will get kick out or you will need to kill dragons one more time.
7. Meeting Kalecgos - Go to 46 38.8 press on [npc=188915] and from it will drop [item=191954] take it. Now go 40.9 55.
8. The Many Images of Kalecgos - Use [object=376570] is outside tower then you will be teleported on top level now move to 40.7 59.
9a. Driven Mad - Loot 40 [item=190769] from mobs.
9b. Arcane Pruning - First press on [item=191953] then Fly to 2 location: 39.5 60.3 and 41.1 62.2 and use there [item=191952].
11. Straight to the Top - Fly to location: 39.5 60.3 or 41.1 62.2 and use [item=191978] after few sec you will get extra bar use it to get teleport on top platform.
12a. Platform Adjustments - Press on 3 [npc=185775] they look line big portals ease to see.
12b. Arcane Annoyances - Use [item=194891] to pull 6 [npc=192739] and slay them.
14. Reclaiming the Oathstone - Fly down on ground and speak with [npc=186187] Movie will start.
15. Aiding Azure Span - Go to 46.6 40.1 Storyline finish.

I created the Arcane Stepping Stone no problem, but couldn't interact with the action button. Tried dropping the quest and retaking with no success.
My eventual solution:
-dismiss my pet
-exit the game and re-enter
Then it worked just fine.
