To avoid getting hit by his arcane volley, hide behind the big pillar right next to the boss. The spell becomes interrupted, average cast time about 5 seconds so there's plenty of time to hide. Hits about 30k as a 97 lock.

[npc=18473] is making an appearance in Warlords again, he was previously known as a boss in [zone=3791] in The Burning Crusade.

Also, the end of a quest desctription is a wink to him and players, as he had a pretty humorous line about some trinkets (even better, doesn't actually drop any)

<squawk> Trinkets, yes. Pretty trinkets! <squawk> Power, great power. <squawk> Power in trinkets! <squawk>

Cool to see so many familiar characters return in Draenor.

Turn in for this and the other quests Anzu gives with this are at the northern point of Sethekk Hollow, just below that small circle lake NOT at where he gives them to you initially. Quest maps are bugged at the moment and I spent a long time trying to figure out where you turn them in.

Description

Ikiss was once a respected sage among the Adherents, but his search for the truth of Terokk's fall led to his own banishment. Ikiss became obsessed with Terokk, even claiming to be the old hero reborn. He commands the Sethekk, promising untold power in a new age of darkness. Know this: Ikiss is no Talon King. Slay the delusional fool, and search him for anything useful. He is known to collect powerful trinkets.
