Do NOT make the same mistake I did. I looked on my map and went to the spot it shows on the map thinking that is where the quest starts but it is NOT. The Orc next to the one that gives you the quest is who you talk to to then, run to the spot on your map.

Hope this helps!

One of the many quests that indirectly talks about the struggle between the old Thrall Horde and new Garrosh Horde. These tensions are more explained in the novel The Shattering, and are trickling into the player storyline as well.

If you're new to wow and interested in lore and story, pay attention to these little bits! It's all based on a large theme that will expand from now until a few content patches ahead!

Description

My "associate" here has some plans for you that I don't agree with. His actions are hasty, uncontrolled, and irresponsible, and you may end up paying for them with your life. Before you work with Gor, first listen to the tale that I have to tell. It's a moralistic story - a fable - but I believe its lesson will prove valuable. Speak to me when you are ready.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Securing the LinesDurotar · Level 1-30

Gazlowe told me once, "Rezlak. There's one thing you need to know in life, and that's if you want something done well, do it yourself." I can't deal with losing all our caravans, so I'm just going to take matters into my own hands. Harpies plague our supply routes.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Ignoring the WarningsDurotar · Level 1-30

Ignore the shaman, soldier. Certain powers-that-be within the Horde demand that I keep him with me, but I assure you, that Thrall-loving farseer truly sees no farther than the borders of this hut. Elementals war against one another to the west of here.
