Thread of Hope

The quest Silk Shortage starts at Aithlyn in Ardenweald at 48.5 50.4. You MUST have chosen your covenant to get the quest.

This is a bit confusing, the questline is not yet on wowhead and this particular quest is just a part of it but not the first one. Although they both have the same name.

To start this quest line you have to talk to Aithlyn, she is located in Ardenweald in the heart of the forest.
IF you are in the forest covenant, see [npc=158556] for her location.
Otherwise she is located outside of the heart of the forest at 94.05 13.45.

She will give you the Silk Shortage quest which starts the questline.

1 Silk Shortage

Storyline start from [npc=158556] 48 50 Ardenweald. You need to go to see [npc=159270] 38 29 inside of a fallen tree.

2 Tough as Silk

Kill mobs until 100%. You can do this quest together with The Shattered Harp. Quest return to [npc=159270] 38 29 inside of a fallen tree.

3 The Shattered Harp

Quest pick up from [object=350804] 38 28. Loot from mobs 3 [item=178138]. Is 30% drop rate. Quest return to [npc=167047] 37 29.

4 A Song for Silkstriders

"Quest start from [npc=167047] 37 29. Use [item=178143] next to [npc=169332] then appears [item=178144] You need 4 of them. [npc=169332] location:
1. 37 27
2. 38 26
3. 34 28
4. 36 28
Quest return to quest giver."

5 Save Ol' Gertie

Slay [npc=167089] 36 26. Quest return to [npc=159388] 37 25

6 Thread of Hope

Deliver Gertie Jr. to [npc=159270] 38 29 inside of a fallen tree.

7 Silk for Ardenweald

Bring Gertie Jr. to the Heart of the Forest to [npc=158556] 48 50
