Tidying Up

Tidying Up is a quest for level 10-60 in Mechagon. It is step 2 of 4 in the Mechagon Fishing storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Mechagon Island at 37.0, 47.2. It rewards 1 reward item, 1 reputation reward, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

Ionized Minnows are a scourge of these waters. They strip the ocean floors of any food, making it difficult for other species to survive.

These fish have little to offer other than being a food source for larger fish. I want to see these larger fish, so I have a plan to clear the waters of these minnows and lure the bigger fish out from its hiding place.

Let's start by using my Minnow Vac to catch Ionized Minnows for me.

Found something amusing: I had 187 minnows then stopped getting more and wondered if the quest bugged. Dropped the quest and reacquired it and noticed I still had the 187 fish, so went to check my bags and noticed the fish were there using space like reagents but also noticed by bags were full. So make sure you have space in your bags if you share my silly bad luck. :P

  • Fishing For Something BiggerMechagon · Level 10-60

There's a huge fish lurking these waters, and it's been causing lots of problems! It eats other fish, fishermen, and a lot of expensive gear. I saw it swallow a beautiful Zigby 300 Fishing Rod along with its owner just the other day!

After this quest

  • Build A Bigger Fish TrapMechagon · Level 10-60

With those minnows and some spare parts, you should be able to build a Hundred-Fathom Lure. Visit Pascal-K1N6 in Rustbolt and build one. Then come back here, and we'll catch a huge fish!
