Wisdom From Madness

Wisdom From Madness is a quest for level 50 in Uldum, added in Battle for Azeroth. It rewards 6,800 experience and money.

Description

In my visions I hear... voices...

Their words are nonsense, but over time patterns arise. I believe there is something important behind what these voices say, but I have yet to decipher a word.

We will need to learn from the source. Find any writings you can among the cultists who travel with these dark creatures. Their ramblings may be the key to understanding the message beneath this madness.

There are some stealth-ed assassins wandering about the quest area, a group of acolytes in the lower jungle section, and some mounted on flying worms.

Mob density feels quite low currently and its not a 100% drop - hopefully spawn rate or count will be buffed soon.

try 61.90, 70.73 (upper level) there are a bunch of the NPCs that drop the writings. respawn timer is decently short.

ETA: as of the most recent Uldum assault this seems to have been removed and/or is tied to a rare event. thanks blizz.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
