World's Okayest Inventor

World's Okayest Inventor is a quest for level 80 in Undermine. It is step 3 of 5 in The G.O.L.E.M. of Progress storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Undermine at 37.0, 52.9. It rewards money.

Description

I'm... not the inventor my old man is. Or much of an inventor at all, really. My masterwork is over by the wall there, but to be honest, there's a lot of work that still needs to be done to get it to do... anything.

But this! This could be my big chance to prove to Pops that I've got what it takes to make him proud!

All we need to do is actually, uh, figure out how to repair this thing. How hard could it be?

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • Garbage DayUndermine · Level 80

My old man's got all these crazy ideas about helping the world... I dunno. It's all a bit over my head, but I guess that's why I was never the inventor he wanted me to be. Still, I've got some thoughts on how to solve problems around here. Like those dang rodents getting litter all over the streets!

After this quest

  • The G.O.L.E.M. Goes Berserk!Undermine · Level 80

The G.O.L.E.M.'s gone berserk! Haywire! Bonkers! I gotta go chase it down--who knows what kinda trouble an invention that powerful could cause! Plus, imagine how mad my old man would be if we lost it!
