LEGION REMIX:
You can abandon this quest as you cannot reach the Cleft of Shadow in Ogrimmar.
This item is from the base game, but devs seem to have forgotten to remove it for this mode of the game.
The questline "A Dark Summons" is about the introduction of various other races to the practice of the Warlock arts, like Lightforged Draenei etc. You get to save a Lightforged Draenei from slavery and they come back to you with a letter and a glyph that gives your Soulstone a different visual.
You can pick this quest up at any point after Legion Remix has concluded from Phineas in the Cleft of Shadow and do the questline if you want to.TL:DR
Abandon quest (not designed for Legion Remix).
Pick up quest after Legion Remix has finished.Hope that helps :)

This does drop during MoP Remix, but from everything I can tell, it appears to be an auto-drop for Warlocks that was possibly overlooked by devs and cannot/was not intended to be completed during the event. I'll be sure to edit if I hear otherwise, but for now this seems safe to abandon. Edit 10/27/25: Same applies for Legion Remix.
If you did like I did and deleted the letter before I could start the quest, just go to Cleft of Shadow and talk to Phinneas there to start the next quest.

What to do
Description
Denizens of Azeroth, Do you thirst for power? Do you wish to change your circumstances, to become... more? More free. More respected. More feared. Do you wish to become a Warlock? If your response to any of the above is "yes", then meet with my humble servant Phineas. In temptation, Madam Shadow
