Hint: If you see "?" level mobs, you're going the wrong way! You're a bit too far East and are actually heading to the Scarlett Monastery. Lilian will hardly do any damage to these guys and you're sure to wipe. The route you want to take is not on the path/road and your destination is actually that little broken tower icon to the West of the Monastery on the map.
Might have been obvious to some, but it took me longer than I'd care to admit to figure this out. Hope that helps.

If you DC or something and lose the Lillian "pet" and can't get it back even if you logout, just solo your way to the tower. Once you're at the tower, relog and Lillian will spawn next to you. This only works if you still have the quest.
Source: My experience with my undead mage about 2 minutes ago. i'm only level 11 AND clothie so you should be able to solo your way there with pretty much any class. Priests might be the only ones with problems, but they still have healing spells and mages don't.
Most people think Voss' story ends here. This is incorrect. Lilian Voss' handiwork can be found in the Charred Outpost of Western Plaguelands, where she has slaughtered yet another Scarlet Crusade encampment.

What to do
Description
The whisper continues: <"My name is Lilian Voss. Before I died, I was a member of the Scarlet Crusade. My father, High Priest Voss, raised me to be a weapon against the plagued. I studied stealth, sorcery, martial arts, anything to make myself stronger. I gave up my childhood for him."> <"Then, as fate would have it, I died and returned as... this. My father instantly forgot me and, when I returned, ordered me executed."> <"Come. We will speak with him now, in his tower to the northwest.">

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A Deadly New Ally
Shortly before you arrived at the Bulwark, I was approached by the most unusual young undead woman. She swore enmity against the Scarlet Crusade, so I sent her to work on our enemies to the north. You say you saw some dead crusaders earlier? Those were probably her work.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- To Bigger and Better Things
There isn't much more glory for you here on the Bulwark, <name>. You've done enough already. There may, however, be further adventures waiting in Silverpine Forest. Speak with my bat man, Timothy Cunningham. He'll give you a ride to Brill, free of charge.
