Painful Lessons is a quest for level 70 in Dalaran. It is step 5 of 16 in the Visions of Azeroth storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Dalaran at 49.4, 47.7. It rewards 1,200 experience and money.
Magni appears stable for now, but he's still not responsive. We need to get him treatment quickly. I'll open a portal to Dalaran.

At least Jaina made a portal for us to go through, rather than just porting out with a wave and "See you in Dalaran!" as Magni and others have done in the past. :D
Since it's not clear above, next is The Bronzebeard Family.
For anyone starting this quest on an alt, the next step is actually The Bronzebeard Family offered by Moira. She is in the Portrait Room in Dalaran. For whatever reason this step in the questline is skipped.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

I haven't spoken with Azeroth for years. At first I just didn't feel the need. Then I realized I had started to resent her. For leaving me like... this. And now I'm not sure if I can. But I know the stakes. This Radiant Song of hers foretells something dire. And we need to know what.

<Moira takes a deep, centering breath.> We need to let Brann and my son Dagran know what happened. They're at Dalaran's visitor center. Could ye go get them for me? Father needs his family right now.
Visions of Azeroth has 16 steps, from The War Within to Adventuring in Khaz Algar.
