Bringing the Big Guns

Bringing the Big Guns is a quest for level 45 in Krokuun. It is step 7 of 13 in The Light Mother storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Krokuun at 31.7, 58.3. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 6,150 experience and money.

Description

Light's Judgment has a security feature to prevent it from falling into enemy hands. We can trigger its recall mechanism, which will teleport it back to a vessel.

With the Xenedar out of commission, the gun should recall to your ship instead. You can make good use of its firepower.

The process takes time, though, and will likely attract the Legion's attention. Be on your guard.

Warning: If you are not geared or your item level is under 890 this quest is near impossible (unless you're like a tank class or something idk I don't play melee classes).

However, on my mage with ilvl 893 I was able to scrape by using all my CDs and using lust. Just keep trying and if you really can't get it, just get a friend to help or just wait until you have higher ilvl.

Good luck

Before this quest

  • Locating the LongshotKrokuun · Level 45

We're going to need a bigger gun if we hope to free Xe'ra. One of the other bunkers crashed closer to the Xenedar. If Baraat was on it, he will have already begun surveying the area. Perhaps he's found the main cannon of the ship. If you head over that way, make sure he hasn't died, will you?

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Lightly RoastedKrokuun · Level 45

Can you hear me, <name>? Good. Light's Judgment has been installed on the Vindicaar. We should be able to harness its power immediately. We can use it both to clear the rubble blocking the Xenedar as well as destroy our enemies. As with any new piece of technology, we should test it out. Thoroughly.
