The quest area for Bright Leystone Deposits is just north of Thunder Totem. It's inside a cave that's uphill past the [npc=94507]s. So don't bother killing and mining [npc=94507]s. You'll only get normal Leystone Ore and [npc=101644]s don't drop ore.

The cave entrance (49.9, 53.8) isn't on the map. The entance lines up with the "H" in Thunder Bay.

Inside the cave the [object=247904]s are large and sparkle. The [npc=94507]s in the cave don't drop [object=247904] so ignore them. To reach the ore at the lower level, cross the plank bridge and look down. There's a rock slope you can walk up and down.

as it seems these quests require 20 skill in Legion mining?

Can anyone define the requirements for these quests?
(to appear as WQ on the map)

A minimum skill level? a
A certain rank for the ore?

One toon does seemingly not have it available,
at least I didn't make my way up there before having a look at the map.

And at least I took a look at the Highmountain WQs (while on the other character) before trying to get those 150 ores one by one >.< (2 Rechargable Reaves Batteries)

Nah, let's not discuss why a seemingly more widely spread ore is more expensive on the AH than felslate.
These realms seems to have a monopoly maybe, but then again who cares about these ores nowadays..?
