Bolas Bastion is a quest for level 10-45 in Highmountain. It is step 1 of 3 in the Thunder Totem Troubles storyline, the opening step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Highmountain at 46.5, 59.5. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 6,150 experience and money.
I received word that a coven of harpies and their rocs plan to attack in force.
They'll be coming from the mountains to the north.
Use one of the bolas launchers and I'll man the other.

If your health drops to 0 while inside the vehicle, you will die. Be careful
This quest may also bug out in the way that when started, you'll see an army flying against you but the bolas hardly do any damage. I this happen, try to leave and re-enter the vehicle(for me it solved itself by me dying).
Normally the harpies comes on pairs first and then more and more, and the bolas one-shot them.
Two things:
- The blue rocs sometimes require two shots to kill; you may end up shooting one only to see it shrug it off, or get very close and then descend on the town out of view.
- There appears to be a maximum distance at which you actually get credit for kills with the launcher; half the times your kills don't actually count, partly because the targets may have been simultaneously killed by the NPC.

Those foolish calves! They've made off with our ceremonial drums again, treating them as toys... as... common drums! Can you help me find them? They must be scattered to all corners of Thunder Totem by now, discarded as soon as the fun dries up.
