Creeping Through Corridors

Creeping Through Corridors is a quest for level 80 in Azj-Kahet. It is step 3 of 10 in the News from Below storyline. It rewards 11,750 experience and money.

Description

I've identified three sites of interest to investigate.

A stockpile on the east side of the complex, a warehouse in the center, and lastly, that big storehouse with royal Sureki flags outside it. We'll rendezvous there.

There's less chance of discovery if we move separately through the area. You may be hidden from most nerubians, but the Ascended will sniff you out. Chuck some of these anger pheromones at them if you get heat, it'll distract them.

Stay sharp, stay quiet.

None of the above suggestions have worked for me so far. I can restart the RP conversation, but I can't get the final requirement to trigger. Put in a ticket, so I guess I'm stuck at this point in the campaign for lord know how long until they respond and/or fix the issue. Wonderful.

UPDATE: Ticket basically went nowhere. But it looks like Blizzard is at least aware of the bug: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/000366024

I am experiencing the same issue. Here is what I have tried and none of it worked:

Logging out
Quitting completely
Logging into another character and doing a task and coming back to quest character
Abandoning the quest
Leaving the zone and doing other quests and coming back to try again

I don't know what else to try? The room is full of people also trying.

*EDIT THE NEXT DAY*

I returned the next day and it worked! I don't know if it just required a long wait of being logged out, or if it got fixed?
No need to click anything, you just enter the room and approach The First Ascended creature.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Spider's-Eye ViewAzj-Kahet · Level 80

I have eyes in every crevice of the city save for one that has... eluded me. The Transformatory is the grounds of Ansurek's most precocious minions and treasured pets. It is where the Ascension process was developed. I've only gotten my claws on it recently, thanks to dear Y'tekhi.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Lab AccessAzj-Kahet · Level 80

As much as I adore skulking in the shadows, the juiciest intel is going to be inside the laboratory of the Grand Splicer. Of course you'll need the proper pheromones once you're in, but we can take care of that with a little biological forgery.
