Lab Access

Lab Access is a quest for level 80 in Azj-Kahet. It is step 4 of 10 in the News from Below storyline. It rewards 11,750 experience and money.

Description

As much as I adore skulking in the shadows, the juiciest intel is going to be inside the laboratory of the Grand Splicer.

Of course you'll need the proper pheromones once you're in, but we can take care of that with a little biological forgery.

The nerubian loyalists here are surely on the invite list. Six of their secretions should be enough to disguise the three of us.

Only a handful of mobs, slow respawn times, and to top it all off, the quest items aren't even 100% drops. I've noticed that a number of War Within quests seem to feature quest mobs with unreasonably slow respawn times, especially considering the number of people trying to complete the quest at once.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Creeping Through CorridorsAzj-Kahet · Level 80

I've identified three sites of interest to investigate. A stockpile on the east side of the complex, a warehouse in the center, and lastly, that big storehouse with royal Sureki flags outside it. We'll rendezvous there. There's less chance of discovery if we move separately through the area.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Making of a MonsterAzj-Kahet · Level 80

We've got a new objective: Figure out what Ansurek's plans are for this... thing. We'll find our answers inside the laboratory of the Grand Splicer. I'd bet my blades on it. I scouted a maintenance hatch on the roof that you can grapple up to.
