Ansurek... that worm, that witless, gutless little--

<Y'tekhi growls under their breath, struggling to maintain their composure.>

Am I missing something? The quest, dialogue, and cinematic up to this point give no information that the first Ascended monster is in fact the Queen. Y'tekhi and Lillian just randomly know this information?

Also, it's goofy that the Blizzard Entertainment title card and War Within expansion splash show during the cinematic.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Making of a MonsterAzj-Kahet · Level 80

We've got a new objective: Figure out what Ansurek's plans are for this... thing. We'll find our answers inside the laboratory of the Grand Splicer. I'd bet my blades on it. I scouted a maintenance hatch on the roof that you can grapple up to.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Rogue AgentAzj-Kahet · Level 80

We lost Y'tekhi. We can worry about the how of it later. Right now, we need to worry about taking them down before they make things worse. <Lilian snorts.> I guess we came down here to find out what Xal'atath had up her sleeve. ...I wish we'd minded our own business.
