Worthy of note : if, for whatever reason, you have not completed these Kor'ik quests before reaching revered, it's possible to end up in a situation where you do the revered quest, and .... **** SPOILER ALERT ****.... you assassinate Kor'ik as it's revealed he's a traitor. Leaving you with no turn in NPC for these quests, he'll be gone from the cave too ---> in that case, you can abandon the quests and obtain slightly altered versions of them, with different ID's, from the NPC whom helps you on that revered chain, Zar'ik !
Seems like there is a race condition that causes this quest to bug and forever show the quest marker (!) even though it's been completed. Hopefully someday they'll fix it. Here is one of several bug reports.

Description
The Stinging Trail nurtures young Kypari trees. The empress drains the saplings too early, outsider. They must grow before the amber can be taken. The Klaxxi'va demand punishment for this crime! It will please them if you rain death on the Ik'thik harvesters.
