Quest Log

Meltdown

Meltdown is a quest for level 30-35 in Dread Wastes. The quest's turn-in marker is in Dread Wastes at 54.3, 36.1. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.

Description

The venomsting scorpions on Zan'vess are fed sap from a young age, causing a fascinating mutation in which their natural armor plating becomes infused with amber. Effectively, it's organic kyparite, the same substance used in forging most of the empire's weapons and armor.

I think I've found a way to chemically break down kyparite, but it needs testing. Use these grenades on the Zan'thik venomstings and observe the results.

One of many quests in Pandaria that currently leaves the item in your bags after the quest is completed.

Here is a list of some of the quests and their items that remain after completion.

In addition to the above provided quest items that stick around the following are some quest items that can be over looted and extras may remain.

In all these cases the provided item or the extra looted items are safe to delete after the quest is complete.

Using the grenades or not does not seem to affect getting credit for the kills; they only debuff the scorpions.

As an arcane mage, using the Klaxxi Enhancement "Raining Blood" I can take these things down so fast I don't even bother with the grenades.
