For those of you that are not getting credit for the kills, and therefore are unable to complete the quest as of patch 6.2 - it is not necessary for Shadow of the Betrayer. For me, to complete 90 Shadowmoon Valley quests, completing the questline beginning with Borak, Son of Oronok enabled me to get exactly to 90 quests. I had tried everything to complete to complete this quest, made sure my pet was on passive; dismissing pet; killing them as quickly as possible; killing them as slowly as possible (with a lower level weapon and melee'ing them); trying to kill them all around the same time (when they turn to multiple smaller ones); killing the one needed for the quest last; abandoning the quest and grabbing it again; finishing other quests around the zone (I had to go and finish my green fire questline, which is started by Sealed Tome of the Lost Legion); logging out and back in again; deleting cache, WTF and Interface folders. So for anyone stressing they can't get to 90 quests, it is possible without this! Also, I imagine there isn't going to be priority fixing bugs like this due to WoD.

Description

Gnomus was kind enough to put this concoction together for the final strike. I merely pour it upon this tabard that you have provided for me and the item is imbued with the essence of the Illidari filth. Take the enchanted tabard and travel to the Eclipsion Fields, southwest of Eclipse Point. Once there, use the tabard to transform into an agent of Illidan. While in disguise, slay the crazed colossi that wander the field. They will think it an attack by the Eclipsion and sever all ties!
