Description

We protected the tree by guarding all entrances to the Emerald Dream. Now Fyrakk has found allies to open the way for him.

I will do the same for you and our allies. The green dragonflight cannot do this alone.

Through this portal, we will enter the Dream together. We must protect that realm and all that grows within it.

As of Midnight pre-patch:

To get the portal you must complete up to chapter 6 in the DF storyline.

If Vyranoth isn't showing for you go to Tyrhold and pick up "Silver Mettle" from Nozdormu, which leads to a slow quest chain inside the tomb.
You will then go back to the spire and get "A dislocated disc" quest then go BACK to Tyhold. You will get a quest called "Reforging the Tyr's Guard".

On your way to that quest you will have unlocked "The Land Beneath". THIS should be the actual quest chain you need to get Vyranoth to show up at the spire. Do the quest chain in the caves (it's slow) then when it leads back out you should see Vyranoth at the top.

You will unlock adventure mode, which is what triggers the portal to show for all your alts.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Call of the DreamEmerald Dream · Level 10-80

A great tree grows within the Dream. Soon, it will emerge in Azeroth. But before it does, we must protect it from Fyrakk's forces. We must band together and see it through its verdant birth. Join me and the others in the Ancient Bough. Together, we will travel into the Emerald Dream.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Feast or FlamingEmerald Dream · Level 10-80

Already Fyrakk damages the fabric of the Dream. I can feel it burning, as if flames were consuming my scales. And I know that simmering agony is only a fraction of what my son felt when Fyrakk tormented him. But we have a potent weapon against this fire.
