As a neat easter egg, before you complete this quest you can find both Naldormi and Xiddorm in the center of the cavern messing with the spiders using time magic and summoned [npc=199510]s. I've posted their dialouge before, but I'll put it here as well.

Xiddorm: Stop messing with them, they are MY spiders!
Naldormi: Mine are going to go SUPER FAST!
Xiddorm: Stooooooop it!
Naldormi: There are lots of spiders, we can share.
Xiddorm: Find your own spiders!

Upon arriving for the Cavern Cleaning quest now you'll find the two near Wraithon, Vyranoth and Mordenaku playing with the curious netherwhelps. Speaking to Naldormi gives you the following interaction:

Naldormi: Hello!
You: Why are there so many spiders in this cave?
Naldormi: No idea! Xiddorm and I didn't put them here, that's for sure. We definitely did not see if we could make this entire cave the biggest spider cave ever. And under no circumstances did it get out of hand. I simply have no idea!

Ah, I love these two. It's a very small thing for Blizz to add but it's very cute! Though it makes me wonder how Azeroth has survived this long with kids who essentially have superpowers.

Description

This cave is adequate. It has a commanding view of the surrounding land, and is highly defensible. But the state of it is not acceptable. I will place an enchantment upon you. When you draw near to the smaller spiders, it will freeze them, allowing us to relocate them. The sacs and larger spider will need to be addressed with more... finality. See that it is done.

I suspect Vyranoth might also be interested in recruiting new dragons to our cause... but she'll need a little convincing. I just so happen to be very good at convincing. I'll speak with Vyranoth, and we'll meet you in Valdrakken once she's decided to join us.

Of course we will take care of the netherwhelps. However, we might run low on snacks. The beetles close by are a delicious treat for the little ones. Can you bring me back some juicy beetle bits? Only the best for the little darlings!
