Description

Khurgorn tells me the cataclysm upset the balance of the elements all over the world. Helm's Bed Lake, to the south, used to be beautiful and tranquil, but it is now overrun with agitated water elementals. When they started to leave the confines of the lake, I sent my troops in to keep them busy, but most have been frozen in blocks of ice.

If we can break them free, they have a good chance of recovering. I cannot spare the men for a second expedition out onto the lake. Would you be willing to try?

My question on this one would be, does destroying the "Icy Tomb" entities count towards your number of kills in the game? I'm trying to play an entirely pacifist character and am only taking up quests that can be accomplished without fighting and killing things. The fact that you have to target and attack the Icy Tombs to free the Dwarves was the thing that caused me to abandon this one.

You just whack the ice tombs on the lake and good guys come out. Unlike many other similar quests, hostile mobs never appear to surprise you. Very easy and simple quest.

BTW you do not have to have the quest to free these guys. If it makes you feel good or whatever, have at it!
