I find this storyline very underwhelming and disappointing.
Not nearly enough notable mages that showed up. Where was Khadgar's sweetheart Archmage Modera, the one that made him the arcane wheelchair? Where was Vereesa Windrunner, whose husband was once the leader of the Kirin Tor, and perhaps she would want to pay homage to the fallen residents of Dalaran? I'd wager quite a few of the Mages from the Hall of the Guardian would have taken the call as well, if they weren't killed. Also, was the farewell ceremony only for mages, or could you have tracked down some of the merchants, profession trainers, civilians - see if any of them would want to attend and send a portal a good distance away so they wouldn't get stuck like some of the mages did?
Also, why was there not more of a threat when Dalaran was destroyed? Did they not consider all of the dangerous threats contained within the Violet Hold?
So, they decide that they want to not have a council, that they'll just be a society of keepers for magic? Then in a <Sit around and listen>, Jaina decides that she's going to be the leader and Aethas can have an important part too? I'm sorry, but ya'll are doubling back on being hypocrites and say things just to say them. The world is in mortal peril, and you're going to shut yourselves off from the world when Xal'atath is threatening it? Good luck with that, cause you won't have a 'Champion' to call upon when you get more issues popping up in your neck of the woods. Also, if you're refocusing your efforts on being a group of magi, does that mean the regular folk who lived in your city won't be able to live there anymore? I know some of them are trying to make things work in various parts of Khaz Algar, but what if they miss Dalaran?
Honestly, I liked the floating city idea, it made it unique and it was very strategic advantage to have. Shame they're gonna return to being a boring city on the ground again.
Why do we close off the end of the chapter with the shore still looking as arcane-scarred as it was when we started? Could they not have added a new phase to the area where the white spire of Dalaran is no longer present and a painful reminder for the survivors?
NOPE. Let's just be lazy and leave all the &*!@ behind, just have to collect the valuable magic items.
Blizzard has been killing it with some of the content in TWW, but THIS is just sad.

There is a follow up conversation with Khadgar and Jaina back in Dornogal when you're done with this quest!
All the NPC's gathered around say something different if you speak with them. But you'll need to do it before you turn in the quest because they port out afterwards.

What to do
Description
Not all the Kirin Tor's issues can be solved in one day. But one way we can act is to honor those who have fallen. After speaking with everyone here, we have cobbled together a ceremony to send off those we have lost... and Dalaran. We would be honored if you would join us and participate in remembering our fallen comrades in the Kirin Tor.

Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Too Powerful, Too Dangerous
Some of the relics the nerubians now possess were housed in carefully-designed containment vaults on Dalaran. That is how dangerous and powerful they are. With those vaults gone, the only course of action we can take is to destroy them.
