So the lost assistant writes something about that its unknown that murlocs ever used necro magic. Thats straight up false. We already know about the deepsea murlocs in Nazjatar that are also named after their necromantic skills "Necrofin".

  • Fish Are Food, Not FriendsZul'Aman · Level 83-88

I have heard your mrgls, my people. Your stomachs grgl in hunger! The invaders have cut you off from the food you so desperately need to survive. I will send my champion to gather fish so you may fill your bellies once more!

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • There Can Be Only OneZul'Aman · Level 83-88

I've observed the Deepfin kidnapping native murlocs and raising troll corpses as undead thralls. But they don't push further inland--they take them all back to the sea. I think they're being led by a powerful murloc who remains safely offshore, hiding from view as it accepts its minions' tribute.
