Gallywix Got Away

Gallywix Got Away is an Alliance-only quest for level 50. It is step 10 of 11 in the A Golden Opportunity storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Tiragarde Sound at 74.1, 26.3. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 6,800 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

I must confess my disappointment that we were not able to bring an end to Gallywix's greedy reign today.

But I blame no one but myself, and will report the same to the High Commander. Your performance was exemplary, just as I expected.

I hope the Alliance will not lose faith in the void elves because of this. We have much to offer.

When you're ready, I will open a final Void portal to take us back to Boralus.

"gated behind the 7th Legion reputation" which is 3000 points of progress into Honored. Happy grinding to get the Golden Opportunity quest started.
Blood in the Water needs 7500 points into Honored to start.

Was hoping for some insight on the lack of a void portal back to Boralus. Hopefully no one else has come here with that same problem, bug report submitted August 27 2018.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

We Have Him CorneredLevel 50
Did you hear Gallywix barking orders to his servants and thugs? Still concerned with frivolities as we edge ever closer. He feels safe in his petulant palace of profits. He should not. Even here, we will strike down Trade Prince Gallywix. For the Alliance!

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

Operation: CutpurseLevel 50
It is time to reconvene for our next mission, though Shandris and I disagree on what exactly that should entail. Meet us on the Wind's Redemption.
