A Clean Escape

A Clean Escape is an Alliance-only quest for level 50. It is step 10 of 11 in the Blood in the Water storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Tiragarde Sound at 74.1, 26.3. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 3,400 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

Our victory here will echo through the Horde like a warning shot.

Grunts will whisper around the campfire that nowhere is safe from <name> and the Alliance.

Soldiers will doubt, even for a moment, the strength of their commanders.

Sylvanas herself will hear the story of what we did here today, and it will infuriate her. The thought of her outraged roar when she hears the news will keep me warm tonight.

Let's return to Boralus and inform the High Commander of the good news.

You'll need to be at 7,500 with 7th Legion or above in order to accept the quest leading to Blood In The Water. I had read in a video's comments about how a guy and his wife had different rep points and that he was auto given the quest but she wasn't. Upon hitting 7,500 rep with 7th Legion after completing a world quest, I was auto given the quest needed to achieve Blood In The Water and told to return to the ship in our town.

Small inquiry: when looking in the search tab it gives several suggestions for "Blood in the water" including an achievement with the criteria of "Win 20 Island Expeditions in PvP", which upon discovery is NOT the same as the achievement required for "Ready for war"

Can there be a way that when looking the search engine for "Blood in the water" would redirect/suggest this page instead? (which is the correct one for the "Ready for war" achievement)

Sidenote:
Comment section should reflect something of the sort, but upon trying to raise awareness of this I'd delogged from the website, this unable to post any comment in that section.
Hope this helps erase the suspicion that that one may be part of the "Ready for war" achievement.

We've intercepted a Horde missive, and learned that Blood Lord Dreven is currently aboard a Horde ship on the Great Sea. We've lost too many good men to Dreven. It's time to make him pay.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Ending the San'layn ThreatLevel 50

Blood Prince Dreven has barricaded himself in the lowest deck of this ship. He's trapped down there. Don't think that makes this easy for us. A cornered beast is more dangerous than a free one. But, if we have the will and wisdom, he can be slain. Follow me.

After this quest
