The door behind npc should open after this quest and you will be able to pick up Grayal's Last Offering treasure.
I think it is a bug, because only horde players can pick up this treasure right now, but it is part of the achievement for both factionsGrozztok the Blackheart quest video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt_9wJfMtQY

Mages can teleport through the barrier
I had a hard time finding a way up after wandering off to kill other mobs. I suggest starting from 50.7, 64.7. Take the stairs up and don't forget to pick up Ranah's Wrench
Do not use the Rickety Planks. They slide you downhill.

What to do
Description
A group of us were dropped off here and left to die. Our first night at camp, I was jolted from sleep by de gurgling cries of my fellow exiles. Jakra'zet sent assassins to our camp, looking for Rakera. Their leader, Grozztok, came for me, but Rakera intervened. She chased him into de dunes, but dat was days ago. If you cross paths with Grozztok, don't hesitate to drive a blade into his black heart.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Warguard's Trail
Rakera's journal suggested she moved south. It's de only lead we have. Meerah is headed dat way, and has invited us to travel with her. These vulpera know de desert better than any troll I've ever met. Our chances of survival are highest if we travel together.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Stolen Satchels
One within our group spoke of a temple in de mountains dat welcomes exiles, though none are permitted to enter without an offering to their loa. I would have given anything to find some solace in dis wasteland, but now I have nothing, thanks to those thieving assassins.
