If you find yourself inside the cave, but unable to turn the quest in, exit the cave and reenter normally.
This happens, if you use Fel Rush to get inside the cave quicker.

Okay so this quest is a bit on the broken side..
You're supposed to jump on the giant ass bug and race back to the cave where your friends are waiting. Kiro jumps on the front - in the driver seat - and somehow you're still the one who's driving. Your giant ass bug has a skill which (I assume) is supposed to one-shot mobs like Brutusk does, but sadly does hardly any damage at all, and - in the case of the citizen groups - can end up pulling a whole army of snakemen who will slaughter you. The good news is, there doesn't appear to be a way to fail this quest. You can climb back into your corpse, head back the way you came, and hop on another deathtrap bug, and start over.
"Following the path" isn't easy. If you stray too far in any direction, or pick a wrong turn, the giant ass bug despawns, dropping you on your ass, and probably in a gaggle of pissed off snakemen hungry for your blood. If your don't die, you can always head back and pick yet another deathtrap bug and try again. Eventually, you'll get to the right path, and when close enough to the cave, Kiro jumps off, says something out of a B-movie, and you runs inside, at which point you can follow and hand in the quest.
Interestingly, if you take the path above the cave, the giant ass bug does not despawn, but you are dropped on your ass. At this point, you can wander all over with a giant ass bug pet, driven by the reluctant Kiro, however it remains docile, making it little more than a cosmetic. You can head towards the cave and turn in the quest without issue.
For some reason, the mount despawns before the 3 minute buff expires. Also, we are able to steer the mount, but are given no direction in which to ride. You have to check your map for the location of the turn in and hope that the road actually goes there. What Blizzard should do is make it an actual ride, with no player controls, just drop us at the quest turn in.

What to do
Description
One thing I've learned during my time in Vol'dun is to not stay in one place for too long. And doubly so when the Faithless are involved. We've done our damage here. Let's move before we get caught. I procured a mount to take us back to Meerah and the others in Vorrik's Sanctum quickly. Don't worry, this Faithless won't be needing it anymore.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Unleash the Beasts
The Faithless are arrogant hoarders, capturing people and beasts that can never be truly tamed. All to fuel their endless lust for war. I've even seen their slavers dragging blood trolls and other dark monsters from the swamps of Nazmir.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Little Ones
Just when I thought the Faithless couldn't get any worse, I find out that they're keeping vulpera children trapped down in that crater! The other vulpera we rescued told me that a big sethrak, Appraiser Versik, is inspecting them on the central platform to determine what he can sell them for.
