Kaheti Hospitality

Kaheti Hospitality is a quest for level 78-80 in City of Threads. It is step 5 of 7 in the Plans within Plans storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Azj-Kahet at 60.6, 68.9. It rewards 13,250 experience and money.

Description

That stage in the distance is where Ansurek will give her Ascendance Day speech.

You, Alleria, and I shall make our way up one of the nearby towers and observe. If we are to turn her own citizens against her, then we must also gain as much first hand experience with her tactics as we can manage.

I've already told Alleria as much, but we cannot make our presence known. If we do run into any trouble, the Vizier has arranged for a set of getaway fliers at the edge of the Burrows where we first met.

If you watch the cutscene and no scenario starts then its bugged/not going to work. Dont bother flying to the objective "Escape from the Burrows" as it won't work either..

It's likely you were in a group and the scenario couldn't start as the other member not present (it doesn't tell you this). Ensure you are next to each other or not in a group for the scenario to actually work. Leave your group -> abandon the quest -> accept the quest -> watch/cancel the cinematic and then the scenario will start. Took me longer than it should have to work this out...

If you have killed the swarm after making your way through the choke point, and Anduin and Alleria are still hiding behind the barrels, don’t try to solo the boss-lady. If you head left toward the stairs, the boss-lady tries to block your path and FINALLY Anduin and Alleria run in to help.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Rewriting the RewrittenCity of Threads · Level 78-80

We called you here today because it is "Ascendance Day". Queen Ansurek has deigned declare it a day to revel in our newfound, void-infused evolution--our "Ascendance". Please note my satirical nuance.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • What We Still HaveCity of Threads · Level 78-80

I went into the city prepared--prepared to end this war even if I was ended with it. But I am alive. As are you. As is Anduin. We have new allies and a new way forward. I realize at this moment that my vision may have been obscured by my guilt. Part of me feels those words are Anduin's, not mine.
