Lively Highmountain Salmon

Location:

A. Located east of [zone=7731] in Highmountain. From the flight path head east (turn left) and travel out, up the sloping dirt track to Snowblind Mesa.

Here you will find a lot of [object=247490] spawned in the stream on the west side.

B. In a pool (45,27) at Bloodhunt Highland in Highmountain. Located northeast of the nearest flight path at The Witchwood.

Objective: Catch 10 x [item=134400].

Reward: 30 x Highmountain Salmon.

Notes:

• 
  
• The pools at A. are guarded by nearby [npc=108185] which are hostile and numerous. They are often farmed for leather so there may not appear to be many but can respawn around you while fishing.
• 
  
• The pool at B. is generally safe to fish both from land and fish but there are some hostile [npc=96423] and [npc=96615] around the edges.
• 
  
• It is only possible to catch one [item=134400] from each [object=247490] but they respawn quickly and are usually plenty spawned even for several fishers at a time.
• 
  
• If you are looking to gain artifact XP this is not the best opportunity given that the pools despawn after each catch and the large number of hostile mobs around.
• 
  
• This is one of the fishing world quests that count towards the Fishing 'Round the Isles achievement.

• If you can't see the fishing pools because of turbulent water, set Liquid Detail to "Good".

• The icon for [item=134400] looks like the icon for Barbed Gill Trout in Outland. Strange choice.

• My server had a handful of players doing the quest and it made fishing frustrating. While one player would fight off a [npc=108185] another would fish out the nearest pool.

• This was about running from pool to pool back and forth across the twisting river and around small bridges. Almost like fishing was an afterthought.
