Neltharion's Lair: Death to the Underking

Neltharion's Lair: Death to the Underking is a dungeon quest for level 10-45 in Highmountain. It is step 9 of 10 in the Snowblind Mesa storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Highmountain at 49.7, 68.6. It rewards 1 reward item, 1 reputation reward, 36,850 experience and money.

Description

I will direct my people to clear a path through this rubble and assault Dargrul's forces directly.

It will be a ruse.

Navarrogg proposed a plan that I believe has merit. He knows of a side entrance that might lead directly to Dargrul.

Muster what allies of yours you can and strike at them through this side passage. Recover the Hammer of Khaz'goroth before that villain brings the mountain down on top of us.

We will provide the distraction you need to get a shot.

It should be noted that the version of Navarrogg you need to talk to for this quest is standing outside the entrance to the dungeon, not in the instance itself.

Since the turn-in for this quest is inside the instance, failing to talk to him before queuing for the dungeon could prevent you from picking up the next quest.

Inside the dungeon: Neltharion's Lair

The Earth Warder Neltharion, later known as Deathwing, once called this cavern home. Since his fall, the drogbar that once worshipped the great dragon built their capital within this ancient lair. Now, Dargrul, chieftain of the drogbar, rallies a massive army within these depths.
