On the Crab

On the Crab is a quest for level 30-35 in Dread Wastes. It is step 55 of 58 in the Dread Wastes storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Dread Wastes at 54.7, 72.1. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.

Description

I just got word that a string of pots we dropped this morning hit it BIG. We're on the crab!

Problem is, the rips are getting stronger and we lost track of some of the pots. They're just sitting out there, filled with spiky blue GOLD!

I need you back out there. Hook one of these buoys up to any of the full traps you find and send it to the surface for us.

The title is a nice reference to a phrase used by Alaskan crab fishermen as seen in the Discover Channel series "Deadliest Catch". When the fishermen's pots are in an area where they're pulling up crab, they say they're "on the crab".

As of release, the quest is working.

Look, I ain't got reason to trust you, but there's a task I can't give to my crew. I need you to search the wreck of our old ship, the Mist-Hopper, and bring back the charter. It'd be sealed up in a silver tube, in a footlocker. It's sort of, uh... incriminating.

I never thought I'd see the day, but for the first time since... well, EVER, Master Angler Ju Lien asked for some help with his lines. Apparently the sea is going crazy today and he can't keep up. See if you can give him a hand. He's fishing just south of here.
