If you were as inattentive as I was, you might have missed important details necessary to complete this quest.

The quest must be completed by following the [npc=216600]'s instructions within the allotted time.
If you make a mistake or miss a choice, don’t worry—just talk to the [npc=216600] again, and the mini-game will restart.
The sequence of tasks is always different, so be sure to carefully follow the instructions each time.
Note: If you are not sure what to press on when he calls, just hover with mouseover outlined equipment and you will see the names in the tooltip.

If you are facing North (look at mini map), these are the chat directions.

NPC yells out the issue, you need to read and click the correct shiny.

North East is the "read the numbers"

North West is the "valve turn it off"

South East is the "control panel"

South West is the "pipe's coming loose"

Hope this helps.

This type of quests... i hate it i hate it I HATE IT! New expansion and already second quest with a "watch chat like idiot, filter out NPC spam and click correct button like baboon".

I hoped those quests would never ever return after annoying Shadowlands where I remember some of them to this date.
Little did I know Dragonflight was done by other WoW dev team and the annoying Jim from SL is back at it again...

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
