Raging Rifts

Raging Rifts is a quest for level 73-75 in The Ringing Deeps. It is step 6 of 7 in the Rampage at Nibelgaz Mine storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Ringing Deeps at 51.2, 11.1. It rewards 12,400 experience and money.

Description

The elementals are coming from inside that cave. We only made it part of the way in before needing to retreat.

I could see some flickering within, some strange glowing thing that looked almost like a tear in space from which the elementals poured forth! We managed to close one of these portals, but there are more.

I need to stay with Nanthaz. It is up to you now, if you can manage. Destroy the rifts and find their source. I suspect it lies deeper within the cave.

Respawn Rate on the Elemental Rifts is pretty slow. They seem to all spawn at once, so if the cave is empty, wait a few minutes and they should all spawn in after a while. They also spawn on top of the cave if you go out and fly up.

Orsenth told me you have been instrumental in dealing with the elemental problem here at the mine. I am Keldaz, supervisor for the militia. We came as soon as word of the attack reached us in Gundargaz. The miners you rescued said that the elementals poured out of the northeast mine shaft.
