This leads to "Buried Tweasure":
Maru sends you to pick up an Ancient Treasure Note, located in the Ruins of Uldum, which is in the Valley of Watchers./way #71 37.61, 84.12 Ancient Treasure Note 1
Nearby, you'll see two Ancient Toys which give you coordinates to go to. These are optional, as you can just skip ahead to the next note for actual % completed. Some people like using the Thinking Cap, though.
/way #71 37.28, 82.92 Ancient Toy 1
/way #71 37.38, 82.75 Ancient Toy 2They lead you to the northeast, and you'll find another Ancient Treasure Note next to a rock.
/way #71 47.51, 56.49 Ancient Treasure Note 2
Head to Zul'Farrak, outside of the instance, and find another Ancient Treasure Note next to the wall. You'll need to have your torch out for this one.
/way #71 38.84, 22.11 Ancient Treasure Note 3
This last note has you headed to Gadgetzan, and you'll find the "mysterious traveler", Yennu, in the Inn.
/way #71 52.69, 26.86 Yennu
Return to Maru for the reward!
Note: Technically, the note given to you by Maru is treasure note 1, but since you find the others, I've labeled them as 1, 2, etc.
Just waypoints:
/way #71 37.61, 84.12 Ancient Treasure Note 1
/way #71 47.51, 56.49 Ancient Treasure Note 2
/way #71 38.84, 22.11 Ancient Treasure Note 3

If you can't see the first Ancient Treasure Note at
/way #71 37.61, 84.12 Ancient Treasure Note 1
make sure you are in correct timeline.
For me there was a question from Nozdormu The Fate We Make followed by Infinity and Beyond that needed to be done in order to move me back to correct timeline and find the treasure.
Go Inside the Ruins of Uldum, in Tanaris. At the end of the main hall you will find orange glowing notes.
Closer to the entrance of the hall you will find a couple of toys, interact with them to get thinking cap coordinates.
You can either use your Thinking Cap and follow the coordinates given by the toys (70,132 that will only work starting from the chest at the end of the hall), or you can simply go to 47.6 , 56.5 in the Tanaris desert right at the foot of the mountain looking south, you will find another orange glowing note which will ask you to go to Zul Farrak.
Once outside the ZF instance (37.7, 23,0), take out your torch and hug the western outside wall. You will get a third orange glowing note suggesting to visit the Gagetzan inn.
You will find a baby Tuskarr named Yennu, talk to him and go back to Maru.

Before this quest
Taken from the quest's prerequisites.
- A Pirate Missive
There you are, <name>. Someone named Scowling Rosa wants to see you in Booty Bay.
- Pirate Gastronomy
Here are Cooktholomew's notes deciphered. Even though this still looks strange, I am positive I deciphered it correctly. I was able to work out how much of everything you need, but it looks like he had his own names for different ingredients, so... good luck!
