Stinging the Stingers

Stinging the Stingers is a Horde-only quest for level 10-30 in Zangarmarsh. It is step 54 of 64 in the Zangarmarsh storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Zangarmarsh at 31.6, 49.2. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

It's impossible to work with all this infernal buzzing! Do you hear it?

I can't get it out of my head! I know exactly what's making the noise, too. It's those damnable marshlight bleeders! The noise always comes from the south and west of the village.

They're too big to swat, crush underfoot, or wave away. The only way to stop that unholy droning is to kill them. I don't care how you do it, <name>, just quiet them!

Confirmed. 27,35. Once again, confirming 27,35 as a good starting point for this quest. Marshlight Bleeders can also drop Diaphanos Wing for Theres No Explanation for Fashion. However, at ~9% they are the least likely (of the possible) mob to drop them. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9769 There are also Naga nearby. They are at and around 27,47. These drop quest items for A Warm Welcome. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9728 A poster on the thread for A Warm Welcome also suggested pairing this with Balance Must be Preserved. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9720

  • A Spirit Ally?Zangarmarsh · Level 10-30

We must find out how much power this Feralfen snake spirit possesses and whether it can be bent to our will. Imagine what I could do with the powers of an Outland spirit at my command! Take this totem with you and make your way to the foot of the stairs leading to the Boha'mu Ruins.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Sharpest BladesZangarmarsh · Level 10-30

The damp atmosphere of the marsh has taken a toll on my metal tools. It's made woodworking a lot more difficult than it ought to be, so I've given up on metal blades.
