Quest Log

Lines of Communication

Lines of Communication is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-30 in Zangarmarsh. It is step 50 of 64 in the Zangarmarsh storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Zangarmarsh at 40.8, 28.7. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

One of the reasons Ikuti led us to Zangarmarsh was to help open the lines of communication between the draenei and the Kurenai home city of Telaar in Nagrand. In order for messengers to pass swiftly between Telaar and Telredor, the roads must be secured.

On our way here, we were attacked repeatedly by marshfang slicers. We were able to fight them off, but they would pose a formidable threat to a solitary messenger. Reducing their numbers will help ensure the safety of our messengers.

Lots around 37, 62 - had 10 right in that area

I found very few at 34.58. At 32.59 I found a group of 6, plus there is a marshfang named "Count Ungula" (63 non-elite) that drops an item that starts a new quest, so be sure you hit this area doing the marshfang quest.

Maktu's RevengeZangarmarsh · Level 10-30
Last time Maktu was out hunting hydras for hides at Serpent Lake, he was attacked by the biggest hydra he's ever seen. Maktu reached for his spear, but it was too late. He had just enough time to escape becoming hydra food. Who knows? Maybe next time, Maktu not be so lucky.

The Terror of Marshlight LakeZangarmarsh · Level 10-30
Traveling through naga-infested lands has shown me the cruel truth about how my less fortunate brethren are treated. At Marshlight Lake, to the southwest, I observed a particularly malicious taskmaster playing a deadly game.
