Tears in the Vale

This quest requires that you dispel 3 Void Tears in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

The Void Tears look like purple fountains, just like this:

After being clicked/interacted with, the Void Tear opens and looks like so:

At this point a few mobs pour out of the tear, and killing the last of them (the [npc=158963]) will dispel the Void Tear and give you credit towards the quest.

An important note: If you are flying around the zone and see a tear someone else (whether from your faction or not) has activated, but you manage to tag the [npc=158963] mob that emerges, you will get credit towards the quest!

I created a macro using Wowhead's coordinates. Note that you will need both TomTom and CopyPasta if you'd like to use this as a single macro, although you can split it into multiple smaller macros. Also, make sure you're in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, or else you'll get a bunch of waypoints for the wrong zone:

1. The only thing that matters to get credit for the quest is tagging the last mob that comes out of the void tear, called the [npc=158963].
2. The [npc=158963] has shared tags between factions. Even if you are on a different faction from someone fighting it, you can still tag it and share the credit.

Interestingly, the Uldum version of this quest (just out today on 23 Jan), Close to Tears, now says as much in its objectives. Its objectives tell you outright to just kill the Void Keepers.
