The Gatekeeper is a quest for level 30-35 in Mount Hyjal. It is step 117 of 118 in the Mount Hyjal storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Mount Hyjal at 71.9, 74.1. It rewards 2 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 6,000 experience and money.

Description

According to these tomes, one of Ragnaros' most powerful lieutenants serves as the sole gatekeeper to Sulfuron Spire.

You won't be able to defeat him alone.

Sound this horn when you engage in combat with Azralon and any of our forces in the vicinity will come to your aid.

You must hurry, <name>. It won't be long before the Firelord realizes what we're up to.

And after failing 3 times in a row, including shooting first , then blowing horn, I realized you must do the other 2 quests first that you picked up at the same time. The drake skull and killing the twilight retainers/augers. quests #7 and #8 of whiterocks post of the questline. This is quest #9. Makes sense, I just always pick up all quests and kill randomly. Bad Drewedd.
