Rogues/Druids - you can stealth past all the spiders and just keep following Orathiss until she stops. Valewalker Farodin just keeps running with you and any spiders he pulls reset within a couple of seconds (he won't stay and fight them - there's more important quarry for him to kill).

Don't wait for Valewalker Farodin. You do not need to speak to him in order to begin. Simply follow Orathiss up the stairs, keep an eye on your in-game map (it will show her position making her relatively easy to follow) kill the mobs along the way until she stops. Kill her, pick up the seed, and proceed on to the next quest The Valewalker's Burden/the-valewalkers-burden
great. when death knights were announced, i looked what 'ice' sounded like for races that didn't speak darnassian - which came out as 'fal' - so i named my NE DK 'Faldorei'...now i share that name with elves that mutated to spiders :(

What to do
Description
Orathiss has underestimated the seed. It is sapping her power - slowing her down. We must catch her and get the seed to safety!

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

- Into the Crevasse
I have protected that seed for ten thousand years. You let it fall into the hands of the fal'dorei. I should have let you die. Repay your debt. Help me get the seed back.

- The Valewalker's Burden
The seed is awakening. Without power it will quickly wither and die. We must carry the seed out of here and plant it somewhere safe. I am not strong enough to bear this burden. But you... you are brimming with power. I can sense it. Please take the seed.
