The Keystone Shard

The Keystone Shard is a Horde-only quest for level 5-30 in Azshara. It is step 28 of 88 in the Azshara storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Azshara at 59.0, 71.8. It rewards 4,100 experience.

Description

The air around this strange stone crackles with energy. The stone itself is smooth and icy cold. It pulses periodically as you run your hands over it, like the crashing of surf.

A wedge-shaped piece appears to be missing from the top surface of the artifact. This 'keystone shard' is likely the key to unlocking the secrets of the stone. Search the grounds near the temple and locate the keystone shard.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
