The Prime's Directive

The Prime's Directive is a quest for level 10-52 in Bastion. It is step 3 of 11 in the Chasing a Memory storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Bastion at 57.1, 61.7. It rewards 7,100 experience and money.

Description

All centurion are made to serve the kyrian.

That they now work against ME, the Forgelite PRIME, is an insult to all centurions in Bastion. Look at them! Praetors! Goliaths! All... PURPLE!

I hereby give you permission and expressly order you to extract their cores. I will repurpose them in a fitting manner. I will reclaim their anima to power the Locus.

I can build more. Do not pity.

To complete this quest you need to collect 12 [item=178094]s.
[item=178094]s drop from most of mobs all over the quest area.
The drop chance is avery high, pretty sure its more then 50%, so the quest is quick to complete.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Directions Not IncludedBastion · Level 10-52

Look at this place! What a mess. The Locus is inactive and these "Forsworn" have taken over. We need to restore the Locus, but I do not know how. This place is not of my design, built long, long ago. Luckily, the previous Forgelite Prime was prolific. Recorded everything!

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Mnemonic LocusBastion · Level 10-52

<Mikanikos examines the scroll you retrieved for him.> Right, right. Soul mirrors and Locus are tied together. If we restore anima to mirrors, it should repair the Locus back to full functionality. Thankfully, the cores you brought should be sufficient. All I need to do is enable conduits. Simple!
